A Three-Generation Household in Sukhothai
Heritage Inventory Session · 2.5 hours
The Situation
A family with three generations under one roof had accumulated papers over fifty years. No one in the household had a clear picture of what existed or where the key documents were stored. Different family members had added their own filing approaches at different times, creating overlap and confusion.
What We Did
A Heritage Inventory Session helped the family work through a structured document checklist over two and a half hours. Together, we identified categories, noted where key papers were held, and flagged areas where documents were missing or uncertain. No guidance was given — only a framework for understanding what the family held.
What Changed
By the end of the session, the family had a printed inventory summary showing what they held across seven document categories. Three areas were identified where papers could not be located and were likely stored elsewhere. The family left with a clear starting point for further organisation at their own pace.

Records Timeline Workshop + Generational Archive Membership
The Situation
Two adult siblings living away from their parents' home in Sukhothai wanted to understand the general landscape of how family records are commonly kept in Thailand. They were not in an immediate need situation but wanted to feel better prepared over the longer term.
What We Did
Both attended the Records Timeline Workshop, which provided a general educational overview of how records typically span generations and what common categories of household documentation look like. Following the workshop, they joined the Generational Archive Membership to access templates on an ongoing basis.
What Changed
The siblings reported feeling significantly more settled about the topic after the workshop. They used several membership templates to create a basic record-keeping framework for their parents' household, which the parents then adopted at their own pace. No personal guidance was given at any stage.
